HH Medical Announces Their Donation Program On June 29, 2007 HH Med donated a Healthway air purifier to Ronald McDonald House Charities, Upper Midwest (RMHC-UM), located near the University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital, Fairview. The Ronald McDonald House of the Twin Cities has the longest average family stay of any of the nearly 270 Ronald McDonald House programs in the world. The reason for this is because RMHC-UM is home to many families who need a solid organ or bone marrow transplant and these procedures often take a considerable amount of time. Often times, transplant patients are especially susceptible to infections due to lowered immunological systems. Healthway Medical Grade air purifiers can be extremely beneficial for our young friends because of it’s capabilities to combat bacterial and viral bioaerosols (airborne microorganisms). As this program develops we hope to provide RMHC-UM with additional purifiers for sleeping, visitation, and recreation rooms. If you wish to make a donation to RMHC-UM please click on the link. You will receive a certificate of thanks from Ronald McDonald House Charities, Upper Midwest , HealthWay and HH Medical acknowledging your generosity. |
